About Us
In 2003 a few friends got together and arranged a cycle from Belfast to Donegal. Since then our numbers have increased and are continuing to do so. On our last Charity Cycle just completed we had 22 members on a 4 day cycle with another 10 meeting up with us on the final day. We have just registered with Cycling Ireland as a leisure cycle club..
People The driving force behind Trappers are 2 people who have been working tirelessly since it started Paddy Byrne ( Chairman ) and Tommy Lyttle ( Secretary ). They were later joined on the committee by Peter Stratton ( Treasurer ) and Mark Watson ( P.R.). Mark also done a fantastic job managing our last Charity Cycle making sure of everyones safety and the smooth running of the trip. Mark has left the committee and Dave mc Corry has taken on the hard job of replacing him in the roll of Tour Manager.
Designated Charity Suicide Awareness And Support Groups provide many services, offering counselling and complimentary therapies, home visits, and one to one sessions and aim to meet the demands and needs of families and individuals. Trappers have meet and befriended many from the group and hold them in high esteem.
